Established in 1964 in Merrick, N.Y., the Meroke Outdoors Club has deep roots in the rich tapestry of outdoor pursuits. Named in homage to the Meroke Indians, an Algonquin tribe with a storied history in the region, our club embodies a connection to the land that stretches back centuries. Our welcoming clubhouse is situated in the picturesque town of Napanoch, NY, nestled at the base of the majestic Catskill mountains and in close proximity to the serene Rondout reservoir.

Meroke 2024 Fishing trip.
The annual Meroke fishing trip was a huge success! Even though the weather was challenging, keeping us in the bay with a few rain showers, the Meroke crew had a great time. We caught a lot of fish, although most were on the smaller side. We’re already looking forward to our next adventure to reel in the big ones.

A big thank you to the awesome captain and crew aboard the Laura Lee out of Captree, NY for making the trip unforgettable.
